Port's taken a leave of absence? (reported on channel 69 news) B. I just caught me off guard that they were covering the team 3 days before a road game. I had the radio simulcast on in the background. I would have though I misheard the report, but they made a "time to blossom" comment in regard to Flowers. B. |

Ok, i just got off the phone w/Bernie and he told me that he wasnt let go, fired or anything like that. John has some other things going on in his personal life and he needs to work thru them. The door is left open for him to return to the team.

The man was smart. He didnt want to face the Big Nasty Rat D.... JK. In all seriousness I hope everything is OK with Port and he returns to the team. Its a tough break but I know Bernie will have whoever starts, ready to go.
