Your 2008 Reading Express will hold a scrimmage this Saturday, February 23, at 9 p.m. vs. the Delmarva Bayriders. The scrimmage will be held at the Grand Slam Sports Complex in Temple, and It's open to the public and free of charge! So come out and get a first-hand look at your 2008 Reading Express!

Reading Express Scrimmage
The Reading Express will be having a controlled team scrimmage on Saturday night February 23 at Grand Slam Sports Complex(near the crab barn)at 9PM vs. The Delmarva Bayriders.
The Bayriders are a start up arena team from the Salisbury Maryland area. They contacted The Express and inquired about our teams getting together for a workout. “I believe this scrimmage will help both teams out “says Head Coach/GM Bernie Nowotarski. “It’s our cut-down night and this will give a real indication of who is going to make this squad.”
The scrimmage is open to the public and is free of charge. Grand Slam does have a concession stand for soft drinks and snacks. As well on Sunday from 3:30PM to 6PM our Smokin Hot Steam Team along with Express Players will be at The Berkshire Mall Center Court .Our dance team will be doing several performances as well as having group participation dances. Our players and dancers will be available for autographs and pictures as well there will be ticket information for our Home Opener on March 8 on Procak Associates Field in the Sovereign Center.
