If you do that thru the company let me know. I'd maybe go that route too. But for now, i'll order the new replica and retire the old #1 & make room for the new one.....  If we got enough people interested we could probably get some type of discount for multiple orders. |

On a side note i just put my order in for a jersey but of course i had to pay $85 cause my fat a$$ only fits into an xxl, lol. Brian also said these were the "away" jerseys so there will be more white on them.
It also looks like they are gonna be printing the fan club shirts too. I told him the price i could get them at and he said he could beat that. They are really excited about both helping and working with the Express. Things are really shaping up for a Championship season....  |

My 2007 T-shirt collection and what happened to the teams:
Erie Freeze Shirt - gone
Johnstown Shirt - gone
Danville shirt - gone
Lakeland Shirt - gone
Pittsburgh shirts - moved
Canton shirt - not gone but almost, there were some problems.
Never got my shirts I ordered from Mississippi and Florence, probably a good thing, they made it back this year. LOL.

He also tells me that the Express will be coming out with an Authentic Jersey during the season. The only thing with that is you have to get one of the player's jerseys Let the excitement begin.  I've been waiting 3 years for this. (I better start saving my pennies now!) I actually resisted buying any jerseys because they were slightly off from the gamers. So having the options of replicas & authentics that are closer to the players is too much. Thank you, thank you, thank you (did I mention thank you?) B. |

He did say the authentics would probably be around $140 and you have to signup to receive one. They will not be on-hand to sell. I'm wondering if I could get a hold of the company directly when they start doing this and pay a little extra to have it customized. And not to totally overrun this thread, the best bet would be to pick a player that has been with the team the past few years, and this year (then you have a decent retro if they do leave after this season) I also wonder if they are just the player's sizes (since they really are only making extras for resale) In that case, the choices for my gut will be limited. Personally, since there is a college connection, (plus my above criteria) I probably would lean toward a Sola. And for $140 (or so) I am so in. B. (this is just getting me more & more psyched for the season) |

Yea, not a bad idea. Might also try to ask Bernie if you could have one at the end of the season, if some of the players dont take'em. At this stage looks like #3 is gonna be the winner. I am gonna have him lighten the blue to a navy blue and see what that looks like. I am also gonna have him put the Reading Express Booster Club text inside the border of #5 just to see what it looks like. I wonder what #3 would look like with an "R" like the one below: I still like #5 the best after 3.

All are being considered but chances are the one with the majority of votes would win. When i send these back for revisions it will take up to 72 hours to get them back and hopefully they will be to our liking and i can approve them so the artist can send me all the files. I need to get this done by the end of this coming week so i can make arrangements to get shirts printed up.
Lots of work to do to get ready with only 4 weeks till the season opener. New membership cards, plan the pre season meet n greet autograph session for club members, shirts printed up, new banner for table, new biz cards, signs for club table as well as ordering more merch to sell. Also trying to work out a Battle of the Dance teams bus trip to Erie on June 7th with the Erie squad coming to Reading on June 14th. The bus trip is a long shot but lots to coordinate. |
