I like number 5. It would look nice on a hat and it's not as busy. But 3 is pretty cool also.

The symbol on the front of a hat and the writing on the back would look pretty nice. For a shirt though I think you would need a catchy phrase on the back.

Regarding #5 do you guys think it would look better if the text "Reading Express Booster Club" was worked into the circle between the silver lines rather than alone underneath?
Also, from a color standpoint do you like that color? I was thinking more of a navy blue myself....
This is just the 1st round. Once i get more ideas then we can make changes to the logos and narrow it down from there. I am hoping to get this done by next week so i can put an order in for shirts.
Also, not sure if you guys heard yet but as i understand it JD Sport no longer handles the jerseys or for that matter no Express merch. Todd Lengle Company which i believe is in Shillington does this now. According to an email i received from someone who works there, i was told they have newer, better looking replica jerseys with more colors and AIFA patches sewn on. Here is an excerpt from the email i received from them: "Even the replica jersey has been redesigned to be much close to the players jersey, including the AIFA logo, two color numbers and sleeve numbering". Sounds cool. I am hoping to take a ride up there this coming Monday to check it out.....

I actually like the color a lot. That's one of the things that made the logo stand out. I think that Zac would agree with that also. I would agree with also putting the wording inside of the circle somehow. It may not work though because of the amount of letters. I guess I would have to see that first.
I am in for getting a new jersey. Tell them to have my Kozak 13 ready in an XL, LoL.
By the way, no one on the team can have this number as it has been retired by me since day one, hee hee.

The coloring could be alittle darker, a tad closer to navy. As for the lettering I think the logo looks good and the lettering the onl other way I could see working it in is to put it in the border of the circle in white. What store is it that is carrying the merc. now?

They have a website which is www.toddlengleco.com/corporate_app.htmI'm going to send them an email to see what it would cost to have a jersey made. I would like to get one for the opening game.

I just spoke with him and ordered my jersey already. It's going to be around $80 and he assured me that it will be ready by the opening game.
He also tells me that the Express will be coming out with an Authentic Jersey during the season. The only thing with that is you have to get one of the player's jerseys.
I would love to get one but only if I could have my own name and number on it. Just because you never know who is going to be around from season to season. I know I will be.
Let the excitement begin.

I doubt i would buy a player jersey too. I remember the 1st year of the Royals everyone was buying Andy Mcyntire jerseys. About 4 months or so into the season he retired. $200+ was alot of money to pay for a retired player who wasnt even a fan favorite. Now, maybe a Ryan Flinn jersey woulda been ok. For my money i'll stick with the replicas till i can get a customized authentic Express jersey.

They will not be on-hand to sell. I'm wondering if I could get a hold of the company directly when they start doing this and pay a little extra to have it customized.

Might also try to ask Bernie if you could have one at the end of the season, if some of the players dont take'em. He did tell me that he would sell them to the players if they asked. If you do that thru the company let me know. I'd maybe go that route too. But for now, i'll order the new replica and retire the old #1 & make room for the new one.....
