Due to Roosevelt’s work situation in his area and his future wedding and the 6.5 hour ride to Reading, he has asked me to release him from our Reading Express contract. It my understanding he wants to still play football in the AIFA. The River Rats are the closest team to his living area. Coach Liotta and I have discussed this situation already. I wish Roosevelt all the best and I thank him for handling this situation in such a professional manner. It has also been a pleasure to also work with Pittsburgh in such a professional manner. I am sorry to lose Roosevelt, but in this game and in these players lives, their jobs and families must come first. I am glad that Roosevelt will still get the opportunity to play in the AIFA, even if it isn’t for Reading.
Thank you,
Bernie Nowotarski

Easy come, easy go. This is too bad. I really wanted to see him play for Reading but i also understand the other side of this too. Best of luck Roosevelt.

Since my first exposure to the Reading Express organization, I have been nothing but impressed. Your class and professionalism is something for all of us to aspire to. Keep up the good work Bernie. = Class
