On Friday afternoon, Reading Express GM/Head Coach Bernie Nowotarski signed veteran wide out Mores Manoyrine. Mores is a two year Express player from South Carolina State. “Mo came on last year when Foxworth and Ocasio went down with injuries and did a great job for us” said Nowotarski. “Mo has a great work ethic and provides the arena experience that helps out any receiver,” said Nowotarski. “Our receiver positions are going to be highly competitive this year, I look forward to seeing the competition” added Nowotarski. Mores is another one of our vets that stayed here in Reading after the season and found an apartment and kept his job with Berks * Fire* Water Restorations.

Alright Bernie, we get it. You are good at your job! Freakin George Steinbrener of the AIFA... Seriously though, there is not a day that goes by where Reading is not making a new deal. That is how you run the off-season.

Yep - everyone in the AIFA needs to learn from the Express here. Keep the news coming.
Even if there were problems internally in Reading (which we have no reason to assume there are), the constant football news is keeping that out of the picture.

That is how you run the off-season. It stings a little bit, doesn't it Dave. That's why you should come over to our side. The Express Station doesn't discriminate anyone from other cities to join in. You've been to to Rail Yard and know how excited this town can get.

Reading was at the top of their game during the season. I rated them #1 overall from ownership, staff, and dancers. This just proves that nothing has slowed down in Reading. They are definately on top of everything. And Mr. exit.............I saw no problems(no reason to put that assumption in the last post) with Reading last year. But get your digs as much as you can.

Yeah Ron, I am conflicted. Last year the Blackbirds played in the south and I loved them. But I rooted for Reading as my north team. This year, Baltimore Mariners and Reading are in the North. I might friggin explode.
I have said this before and will say it again. Reading is a class act team. They run an incredible franchise. Lose the thunder sticks though. They were annoying... way too loud. But effective.
I am just glad that I got to see two express games last year. The team agreeing to come to Baltimore last year after an extremely short turn around is a testament to their classiness. To come to Baltimore last year after a very short turn around, play most of their second string, and still lay a licking on Baltimore.. that was okay I guess.

No dig necessary Joe. Just making the statement that even if there were problems - which we have no reason to believe there are (that's a statement that means "there ain't any problems," if you weren't able to figure that out), the fact that Reading is talking about football will override that. This is what happened in the GLIFL in '06. Enough football was talked about that the minor "hey, no one got paid in Battle Creek and Port Huron missed a lot of bills" issues were totally overlooked. But I guess you've got to keep up the facade that I have some agenda here, so we'll let it slide.
Are Thunderstix really that effective? I've not really ever seen them get that loud anywhere.

The thundersticks were crazy loud at sovereign center arena. My ears were ringing when I left.

It's good to see him back. He is a great guy and awesome player. He was really doubtfull last year. I'm glad that wore off. Alot of our players stayed here in the offseason which made it easier to resign them. Again GREAT JOB Bernie.

Really? on the thunderstixs? I didn't think they were all that loud (far too few, and the stix themselves were a bit small (making them more quiet) Or maybe because I was somewhere in the middle. Maybe some parts of the arena were worse than the others. After two small venue witnesses of them, I figures they worked best in much larger numbers.
I'm sure the kids loved them though.

Brian I agree. Besides, i'll gladly take the thunderstix over those dumb horns they have at the Royals games.
