Kutztown University plays host this Saturday to Shippensburg University on a state wide televised game at 3:05 PM and they are bringing back three Kutztown Alumni who are currently members of The Reading Express, of the AIFA (American Indoor Football Association), to be part of the coin toss for KU’s home opener. Coming back to KU is current Express General Manager/Head Coach, Bernie Nowotarski, who is a member of KU’s Athletic Hall Of Fame. Also asked to be a part of the ceremonies is first year player Jason Henley and three year star Matt Sola. All three have roots here in Berks County. Nowotarski played his high school ball at Exeter, Henley at Boyertown and Sola at Reading Central Catholic. Unfortunalty Sola will not be able to attend the ceremonies due to his coaching commitment at his alma mater Central Catholic. “It’s a great honor to come back to KU under these circumstances and especially with two of my players representing KU at a professional level” said Nowotarski.

From a KU Alumni (who was working on Saturday, of may have been there) Congrats, and I look forward to seeing you each and every week.
