2008 Work Has Already Started
Well we are coming off a very successful second season. A 16-3 record, a second straight Northern Division Title and our first Northern Conference Championship as well as an appearance in the AIFA Championship Bowl in Florence South Carolina, of which we just came up a little short, but what a great year. Both, The Express and Berks Fire Water Restorations Front Office’s are already planning and working hard for the 2008 season. Here is a little of what we are working on at this time:
#1 Season Ticket Holder Renewals. All of our Season Ticket Holders have been sent 2008 ticket information. You have from now until August 31 to renew your seats. As of September 1, all seats in the arena are then open to the public.
#2 Looking for NEW Season Ticket Holders – Just because you have to wait until September 1 to become a Season Ticket Holder, doesn’t mean you can’t start the process. Give the office a call and we can take down your information and have you in place to become an Express Season Ticket Holder for 2008.
#3 Renewing our Sponsorships with All of our Fantastic Sponsors as well as searching for new sponsors. Do you know of a Company out there who would like to be apart of our Team. Give me a call at the Express office or E-Mail me, we look forward to working with everyone in our community.
#4 This is a Biggie !! Player Recruitment – Are you Un-Happy with your current playing situation, city or organization. Well The Express would welcome hearing from you. Send your resume, via e-mail or call the Express offices and let’s see what we can do. Let me just explain myself as a GM. I do not negotiate payroll amounts of contracts. I follow the AIFA contract the way it is laid out. However in Reading we do offer a tremendous amount of amenities to our players. We have many restaurant sponsors that provide the players with a wide variety of dining choices. Laundry services (dry cleaning and daily). Our players can keep their good looks with our Salon Services. We have gym memberships for our guys. We provide Housing for out of town players from training camp through the season. We have medical coverage, massage therapists and full time training staff. We have a great Ownership Team with Ted and Lisa Lavender as well as the whole Team from Berks Fire Water Restorations. Our accounting office offers direct deposit of paychecks. We will help our out of town players find work while in Reading. There’s more, but I need to hear from you….tryouts for the 2008 season will be here before you know it.
Respectfully,
