There are 2 things that had to do with last Sat game that if somebody could shed some light on it for me I'd appreciate it
1. A reading wr pushed off on a canton db in the endzone and the ref didn't call a penalty, when Canton coach asked the ref why he said the player is allowed to protect himself by pushing of the defender has anybody ever heard of that, it wasn't like the wr trip and was falling and put his arms out to catch himself. I'm just wondering as I've never seen that in the rules.
2. Is it normal for the reading fans to use airhorns? I have no problem with the fans trying to make as much noise as they can but I think using airhorns is alittle bush league. I don't remember them ever being used in any other game that Canton has played in Reading. I know is certain areana you aren't even allowed to bring them in.
Just wondering what others thought
Thanks and good luck against Lakeland

Not to start anything here Tim. But I think it might have been some fans from Canton too that had airhorns. The reason I am thinking this is because they sounded when Roc was kicking and when Reading's offense was getting ready to hike the ball. I didn't hear them at all when Canton was doing those things. But yes they have had them for a few weeks now as the post above mentioned. As far as the push-off I am surprised that it wasn't called. Also for the record those refs aren't our normal refs. I haven't seen them all year.

Yes, some Canton fans did have airhorns. They were down in sections 101 and i saw some over in 112. I dont see why the airhorns are an issue. Thousand of arenas and stadiums allow them.
As far as the wr receiver pushing off, to this day i still havent seen a rule book stating the rules of the game itself. That said, i dont know & penalties coulda been called both ways that werent.

It is the push off that bother me it was the ref telling us it was so he could protect himself, I've never heard that of that before just curious if anyone else had. I didn't think Canton had that many fans there, but I know every time Canton hicked the ball somebody blew a horn but thats all part of the game

I think airhorns should be contraband. Plastic horns are fine, but airhorns are just cheesy.
