I gotta agree with Bernie here. If your gonna run a business you gotta be a few steps ahead. I went thru this last year when trying to run the fan club and when i was shooting around ideas for the 2007 season i was repeatedly told by certain people that "we werent there yet". Untrue, in fact when you run a business your always behind the 8-ball. One never knows what lies around the corner and the more you can get worked out ahead of time the better. The Express have, hands down, the hardest working front office/GM in the league and it shows on a consistent basis. Kudos to Bernie & the Express for being ahead of the curve............

No please, keep looking ahead. And make sure the players and coaches are looking ahead too. In fact forget all about that game on the 9th. It means nothing...

The players arent looking ahead but the front office & fan club have to get things in order for 2008. Enjoy the ride out to Reading on the 9th. We'll see to it that you get a proper send off........

I just have a qustion? It is when are you having tryouts for the 2008 season? I am interested in playing. I play Semi Pro football in the PFL/6 which is a 6-man league. I play LB/RB and if someone can email me to let me know. I am in the military PA Army National Guard field artillery. Thanks, Shawn Gordon

The business side can't stop working for the future. On the business end for everyone but Reading and Lakeland, that future is 2008; there's nothing else to sell this year.
Even for Reading and Lakeland, they need to work on 2008, building on the excitement a playoff run brings.
