Also factor in the impending snowstorm, something we didn't have last year! I remember the home opener being quite comfortable, sunny, and warm.

I think the Express have done a fantastic job getting butts in the seats. I think the snow storm had an affect on the number of people who came out on Sunday. We're going to see a good number of people at the Baltimore game. I just wish the people that do come to the games would make some noise. I think some thought they were at the library. Most made more noise for the Steamies when they were throwing t-shirts into the stands. Sorry if this offends anyone, but darn it, these guys are out there on the pitch representing our city. Heck, most of the "stars" on the team come from the Reading area. Be proud and be loud! LET"S GO EXPRESS

Gah. It's not pitch, it's turf!!!!! lol.
I agree, Reading has some noisy fans when they want to get into a game. The Balto fans should stir things up since they're pretty vocal on their own. Reading won't back down without a fight!

sold 1600 tickets in less than a week...please pm your marketing plan... ;D Its possible i guess. Just imagine how many they'd sell in a week if the Express make the playoffs. Probably double that amount? It is alot considering Baltimore isnt a full fledged member of the league yet and this is more or less an exhibition game though it does count in the standings for the Express. Maybe the fans dont know that yet too? ?

Whoa, wait a minute... you unfulred a 2006 Northern Conference Championship Banner? Shouldn't you have to win the Northern Conference Championship to have one of those? Last I checked, Canton won the North and represented it very well winning the American Bowl.

Last I checked, Canton won the North and represented it very well winning the American Bowl. Where did you read that? If that did happen that would be a misrepresentation. Canton are the Northern Conference Champs. Had the league been broken down into divisions, then yes, the Express woulda been Northern DIVISION Champs. If the Express, in fact, did do this, then the Legends have a strong case to charge the Express with Shenanigans.

Well, I think I've used up my supply of shenanigans this month and have to wait until next to call another one. If the Express want to claim the regular season conference championship, I can deal with that. However, the Legends are the conference champs. I remember walking in the Sovereign Center the night of the game, Gene. They, I think, had northern conference champion T-shirts they were selling before the game started. Just a little more motivation for Canton.
