The 2007 Reading Express will be holding their second and final try-out camp at Grand Slam Sports Complex on Saturday January 6, 2007 from 7PM-9PM. Registration will start at 6PM. This try-out is open to any and all football hopefuls that are at least 18 years old and in good physical condition. The cost of this try-out is $50. Participants that were involved in our first try-out and not asked back are welcome to participate in this try-out as well at no charge.
Participants that were invited back to our second try-out are expected to be at this work-out. Wear proper attire for a football work-out. Participants will be tested in the 40yard dash, pro-shuttle run and a standing broad jump. Participants will also be assed from individual position coaches on individual position skills. One note of importance with regards to footwear, NO CLEATS can be worn at Grand Slam. The turf is fast and full of grip, a good pair of sneakers or turf shoes with short nubbies will supply plenty of grip on this turf. See you all at Grand Slam.
