As was first reported by 1st Down Vikings on another thread, the Erie Freeze website is no longer available.
Attempts to gain access from multiple search engines failed.
It looks like any possibility of the Freeze playing anywhere in 2008 is now not going to happen.
Even after Freeze owner DH stated that they were looking at "other possibilities" after the AIFA announced that the Freeze would not playing in the league in 2008.
The Freeze & Chiller Myspace pages are still up and active with last login dates of 11/13/2007. With Christina being the host of both of those pages.
The only question not answered is, Did DH shut the site down, or was it shut down by the websites' server EVivid Solutions?

I'm willing to bet Evivid shut it down for payment issues. Or maybe they are tring to save money like when they shut down their office phones.
On a side note. Word thru the grapevine is that The Freeze were denied admission to the CIFL. Once I get some hard evidence on that. I will post it. So, take it for what it's worth.

What bothers me is there isn't even a placeholderfor the website. You would think that if DH is trying to save money, then a single page explaining the situation would be appropriate. I have a bad feeling the darkness will continue for more than one year....

This is an interesting tid bit.... Doing a simple WHOIS on the domain name, I found this.

It's simple, DH didn't renew the domain contract, so the registrar gave him the digital boot.

Below is the info i received via GoDaddy.com. While it reads as expired it still says the name is taken when you do a domain search. GoDaddy will send email requests to the registrant for a month or so after registration and hold the name to see if they wanna renew. Afterwhich, if no payment is made they'll make it available to the public. :
