I like to take this time to offer my appologies to Erie and it's fans. Through winning and losing seasons. You have stuck behind your team. The real losers of this, are us, the fans. I'm also really sorry for the coaches and players. Hopefully(and some already have) can find new venues to play in.
Erie Invaders...........RIP 2000
Erie Freeze.............RIP 2007
Hopefully the future is brighter.

Wow, that kinda sucks. Sorta like when Baltimore lost the Blackbirds only on different terms apparently.
Joe, maybe your next team won't have a name associated with the freezing cold, and you can return your hair color back to whatever it is supposed to be naturally. hehehehehe

Hey Joe, I wanted to thank you guys for the great job you did running the fan club. You guys put in alot of time and money to make it a success. We were season ticket holders since season 1 and am really dissapointed it came to this. My son is 11 and loved going to the games. Again, thanks for the great job you did promoting the fan club and the team. When and if Erie gets another team, we will be the first in line for season tickets and to jion the fan club.

Having your guts ripped out pretty much describes the feeling. I supported this team from day 1. I went to every single home game along with some of the canton games. This one stings... However, the writing was on the wall. I saw it and mostly everyone who was in the know had a feeling that Erie was going to fold or get the boot. Even with the looming fate, being optimistic as fans, was the only thing we could do. I could go on a psychotic rant, but what's the use? The fans got screwed, period. I am also resigning from the FAB, but would like to remain a moderator if possible.

Even if they want the market (which they do). I see the Freeze going dark.

Its just sad. 2nd year I went to about every game but one, and last year i was a season ticket holder with my friends. I'd like to thank everyone who made the freeze work and made it a good time, even through all those losing games last year my friends and i still had fun every game. The freeze will be missed, hopefully the freeze will be back in 09 even if its not the freeze but a team back in erie in 09.

I'm sorry to hear of your lose Erie fans. The Freeze were a hell of a franchise for my boys down in Johnstown. It's very tough to see you guys go. I feel fortunate that when 2009 comes, the Riverhawks will be back in action. For the time being, I'll be spending one year with Pittsburgh River Rats. Figuring due to my love of Pittsburgh Pro-Sports, it kind of goes hand in hand.
