It will go much quicker if you have your own. I can't even tell you how many Sharpies the Fan Club has bought for the players and Chillers. But after EVERY autograph session less make it back into the teams' possession. It's just a suggestion to get you through the line quicker. Not a rule. Depending on how many they have. They sometimes have to share.

Thanks for all the info guys. Hopefully my son will last that long. He has a birthday party earlier in the day. So he'll probably be worn out, he's only 5.

Buying a game ball or a t-shirt to get signed might be a better idea than the free program that they give out at the games.
The program was pretty cool the first week of the season, but after all of the changes on the team, the player photo section is only about 50% useful. The last game still showed players that haven't been on the team for a few games and was missing their replacements.

That's the one problem at this level...it's probably cost-prohibitive to keep pumping out new programs, but to be useful you have to!

We just had this conversation in the office about programs.
We are developing an idea where "programs" of the past will be no longer available. They are expensive to produce and game specific so there is really no use once the game is over. Additionally, like posted above, the roster changes so frequently that what's printed in the program is usually wrong.
There is only one thing worse than giving your fans no information and that is giving them wrong information.

Honestly, every time the hand me a program at the door it goes in the garbage before I get to my seat. I never look at them.

We took a ball. They were giving away post schedules at the front door and Whitfield was signing right there.
