#1 I've never stayed for autographs after the game, but I promised my son that we would after Saturday's game. How long does it take them to come back out and sign autographs. Do they have pictures or something that they sign, or do I need to bring something or keep my program.
#2 The blue footballs that they throw at Joe, are you allowed to keep those? My son wants one, he doesn't want to throw it at Joe.

The blue footballs are not supposed to be kept, but I have seen then whizzing around during the autograph session. I dunno if people just keep them or the kids that help pick them up yoinked a few. It's not really encourage.

Thanks.
So do they have stuff that they sign or do you provide your own stuff?
Do they sell any footballs that you can keep?

They use to sell team pics you can have signed.
On the matter of blue footballs, they don't like people keeping them but none will say anything to you (what the price of the balls themselves? 25 cents? I believe its no big deal to keep them)

You pay to get the ball.
The ball also comes with the attached chance to win a TV or whatever it is.
They don't like it, then sell something no one wants (like tennis balls)

Do you think they do this and expect every single person to throw the ball into the truck? Thats why cheap balls are used so its no big deal to buy another batch. The team is not going to go bankrupt because 3% of the people bring the balls home with them.

If the Freeze are really concerned about losing the plastic balls, then they should write "Property of the Erie Freeze" in permanent marker on each one. Although, I think the management has more important things to worry about considering we are 1-10.

Exactly! If your son wants one let him have it. Just dont buy ten and take all of them(who would want to do that anyway.) If you do get in trouble blame it on someone other than me. However, I doubt very seriously anyone will care if you carry off a 25 cent or less ball. Unless they anounce over the speakers not to do it-take one. :smileymudcats: :smileymudcats: :smileymudcats:

Don't worry about keeping a ball. I think they expect to lose a % of them. It's NOT a big deal.
They also have programs that they hand out that have player and Chiller pics in it. Grab one of those and bring a Sharpie.
Make sure you say Hi to us at the Fan Club table or on the field after the game!!!
