Freeze lose 9th in a row

JOHNSTOWN -- The Erie Freeze's losing streak reached nine games Saturday.
Johnstown's Jarrod Highberger had seven touchdown passes in the Riverhawks' 63-21 win over the Freeze at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena.
Johnstown (5-5) had three touchdown passes in the first quarter from Highberger. Terrance Hudson caught the first two touchdown passes, while Quenteen Robinson caught the third to propel theRiverhawks to a 21-0 first- quarter lead.
Ian Nutt's 9-yard touchdown run and a team safety by the Freeze (1-10) narrowed the lead to 21-9, but a rouge and two more Riverhawk touchdowns before halftime ended any hopes of a Freeze comeback.
Bob Hammer had a 2-yard touchdown run for the Freeze in the third quarter.
Sam Reynolds added a 20-yard touchdown reception from Jordan Bobitski in the fourth quarter to cap Erie's scoring.

The dismal 2007 campaign just wont end soon enough for the Freeze fans. 5-6 more weeks and it'll be time to rebuild for 2008. Hang in there guys.
