"But it is a matter of having the funds to get them here."
What's that mean? Can a team help with housing or other expenses outside of their regular game pay?
I liked to watch Ro and Dinkins play, good or bad.

As for Seky, his numbers matched Dinks this year. But he sucked at throwing interceptions. Actually he sucked at PASSING, he was quite good at throwing interceptions.

My question to Dave Hodas would be "What do you think you have to do as an organization to win your fans back, such as slocoma, who have jumped off the bandwagon and now root for a sub par .500 baseball club in the Phillies? " Actually, doesn't still being a fan of a sub-.500 team indicate that a person ISN'T a bandwagon jumper? I don't know that it's jumping off the bandwagon to be critical of a team that has come off the kind of year that the Freeze have had. Dave is a nice guy, but at some point there need to be some tough questions asked about the direction of the team. The team has lost a lot of talent to Canton and Pittsburgh over the last two years, why? Is enough being done to keep the team viable as one of the premiere teams in the league? How solvent is the team? It’s not enough to just be able to play out the schedule; you have to be able to treat your team well, to advertise, and to get information out – all of which requires money and sweat equity. The fact that Secky was so awful this season, but wasn't replaced until the end of the season raises questions about the team’s ability to locate talent beyond whoever shows up for the tryout combines and ffriends of current players. The secondary has been dreadful most of the season, but there’s been little change there since the season began. Again this raises questions about the team’s ability to find talent. What kinds of things are going to be done to attract more talent? Actually no. Not supporting a team in mid to late season and following another due to an off season is that very thing. Following a team that is a sub par .500 is just being a fan. Its when that team drops below that, like the freeze did, and the attention is drawn to another sports team. Its the lack of interest in a particular team due to the losing and poor play........ Anyways, just busting on slocoma a bit, nothing personal and he knows that......... ;D I sure understand his frustration. I been a Philadelphia Eagles fan for 35+ years or so.......
