From MV Hitmen site
Erie Freeze contact HitMen about $10,000 winner take all challenge game. Mr. X interviews Jim Terry about possible teams for challenge.
It has been only days since the head coach and owner of the Mahoning Valley HitMen, Jim Terry called out anyone in the country to bring there team to his arena for a chance to win $10,000 in prize money.
"Many people think they have a clue about indoor football. I am giving people the chance to prove it. I don't think there there is an indoor team that can come in here and beat my HitMen. I am so sure I will have $10,000 on hand should we lose." said Terry.
Many semi-pro outdoor teams have already contacted the Hitmen front office about a game, but Jim Terry would like to see an existing Indoor or Arena team take his offer. "Eries head coach did call and tell me he would love to get this game set. He also told me he needed to talk with his owner. They have a bye in 2 weeks and would be a perfect team to take down first. Lets see what the owner of Erie does."

you honestly think this jackass has $10,000? And why does the away team have to give $2000? Caveat Emptor is definitely in effect with this deal. 90% of me thinks this is just BS, but there's the 10% that thinks this is legit....

For those of us not from there, where is Mahoning Valley? Sounds like the Freeze needs to go and whip this team and take this guy's money. If doesn't want to pay, let a couple of the linemen help him find his wallet.

Yes, it's Youngstown. Honestly if you think about it, how hard would it be for JT to get some crooked refs to make BS calls. When it's at the Thunder Turd, he can control most of the variables. Another HUGE issue that I see is injuries in a meaningless game. IF we were to play that bye week, we play Reading the next week. If it were me, I'd rather prepare than play against a con. It's funny, but there's a video of a JT interview talking with ESPN when the Maurice Clarett debacle went down. ESPN interviewer asked if Jim thought Mo was playing him, his response: "You can't con a con man". That's so true.

Personally, I think everything that comes from that guy is bullsh!t, and if any team, in any legit league played that game I'd recommend their league toss 'em out immediately.
I'd like to think that the Freeze organization doesn't even know that this challenge was even issued, let alone inquired about participating in it...

Even though I'll like to see the Freeze shut out his team 200-0, I hope this story is false and we get a confirmation on this.

If the story is true, I hope the Freeze are smart enough to stay away from this.

You would think the AIFA and other leagues would institute a no-JT policy by now. No team, or coach should be giving this guy the time of day let alone considering playing against his team. There is no $10,000. Just like there was no insurance when his league played.
I figure this is all BS spewing from JT, but it would be nice to see some confirmation of this from the Freeze.

I think we should put together a team of AIFAFANS, drive down there and kick JT square in the... We could do a lot with that $10,000 I REALLY HATE THAT GUY Of all the teams that has to be mentioned in the same sentence as JT, it just HAD to be mine!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

The post has been up for nearly 12 hours now and no one has denied it, yet. The more time that goes by, the more credibility it gains (although, we are talking about JT, so the credibility would be small anyway).
I would think that with all the crap that has gone on with the EIFL, the Freeze would be rather upset that their logo is on the Hitmen site and they are being connected to this sham. Exit got his picture off there within a half hour.
Christina, can you categorically deny this story?
