Even though we weren't able to go to Utah and hijack the equipment from the fine folks at AIFATV (SHEESH!), The Freezes' home opener vs. the Danville Demolition will be broadcast on the Image Sports Network. This is the company that was contracted by the AIFATV to do the games for them (But they didn't go out to Utah and hijack the equipment either) (SHEESH). Anyway, The game will be shown on Monday Night Feb. 19th at 7:00pm on Ch. 20 inside the City of Erie and on Ch. 12 outside of City Limits. SHEESH!

They were showing the game on the tvs in the lobby. If thats the same video they will be using then it should be good. But since I don't get cable (Dish) I won't be able to watch it. Let me know how it is.

The footage looks good. And I especially liked the description of a kickoff thru goal posts refered to as an "UNO".

Can I get a copy of the game somehow? I am a faithful ERIE fan in the Youngstown, OH area! I love the city and all it has to offer....Splash Lagoon, Waldameer, Presque Isle, The Freeze & The Chillers...etc... I haven't been to a game since the inaugural year, but I'm always visiting Erie for other tourist destinations...heck...I even drove up to the Tom Ridge Enviromental Center and Presque Isle the beautiful weekend we had during Thanksgiving this past year (2006) with my Godson. GO ERIE!

I watched, and enjoyed. One of the radio announcers from last year along with a new guy did the commentating. There was a pre-game show that included an interview with Coach Arnold. The game footage didn't actually start until 7:30 however, so I thought the pre-game was a bit too long. Pretty good job by the announcers, and cameramen got good footage that showed everything from fans to cheerleaders to Scoopguy to Joe getting pelted with plastic footballs. Personal fav was the halftime show where the announcers recapped the first half while Chillers had a routine, and I'm pretty sure that I don't remember a word they said.

I went a step backward and recorded the game on a VHS. Scooter sometime i'll have to get that dvd to make a copy. Then sell it on eBay.
