Early on, overall, it looked like the freeze decided not to show up but most of the team started getting it going in the 2nd.
Offense: The bad:
To make it simple, the QB and Kicker.
Suckie (whatever his name, nickname) started off very bad. Managed a td or 2 but overall stunked it up. Many questionable throws. Whitfield also made me want to puke. Maybe has the season goes on, they'll both improve but right now they both get an F in my book.
The kicking game sucked and I'm leaving it at that. F--
The good:
O-line seemed to play decent, the qb had plenty of time on several plays but he usually blew it in the end. Lets not forget Canton has a very good D. B
Running game? Incomplete since I saw almost none.
WR, hard to tell since the ball was either off mark or in the hands of a defender.
Defense:
Overall the D played very good after the first canton TD. They were the reason why the game was in reach up till the 4th. A-
Get the QBs and kicking game going and the Freeze will be a serious force this season but those two positions (more for the QB then kicker) are very improtant in this league and must play good or we're gonna see alot of games like tonight.
Whats you're view?

QB is a serious issue in Erie right now, breaking in an indoor rookie. I think the wise thing to do would be to play the more experienced Whitfield but I can see how that might take away a receiving weapon.
Definitely not the Erie of old...

Definitely not the Erie of old... yeah I'll agree on that last comment. Just seemed like a lack of execution and communication. Granted Canton had one game on us, but we knew what was coming. When Secky was out there, I thought Charlie Frye signed with the Freeze. Holds the ball too long for as fast pace as this game is and from the looks of it, stares down receivers. Darmel played decent at QB even though there was a miscommunication on the one pick. I'm not going to worry about this game. If we lose 2 or 3 more in a five game span, then it's time to worry.

I saw some issues with communication, but those can be ironed out.
There is a great deal of talent on the Freeze roster and Secky was seeing the difference between the indoor and outdoor game. They did hold the ball too long and that translated into sacks and int's.
On the positive side for Erie, the Legends did not score through the air all night and that has to be a plus.
Fridge is right, you just don;t want to dig yourself a hole you can't crawl out of. I still think that April 21 game is going to be huge.

I agree some what with you freezermike the early on and O up to the WR
I would give the WR's a C- they made catches, when the ball was to them, but their were several times they dropped balls that should have been caught.
Some communications problems but nothing that can be fixed, just some minor adjustments on the freeze part
Canton held to no passing TD's and I might be wrong but the Freeze is the first team sense we got our new QB last season to keep us under 50 Points, a Good sign for the Freeze.

Erie's Offense needs a tune up and yes only giving up 46 is pretty damn good for an indoor game. We have the pieces, just need to put it all together.
