Coach Arnold is still the man, no new assistant coaches yet, but Coach A has people in mind.
Dave H. also explained the league change. So there should not be anymore assumptions made by the local media. Some of the players were there as well.

Freeze to give Arnold assistants Erie coach won't be one-man show again By Bob Jarzomski bob.jarzomski@timesnews.com
Erie Freeze coach Dave Arnold won't be working alone when the indoor football team takes the field in February for its third season.
His boss, team owner Dave Hodas, however, said he will be flying solo as the Freeze enter their initial season in a new league, which is basically a big part of the old league with a different last initial.
Arnold, the former defensive coordinator who took over for head coach Jerry Crafts during last season to become a one-man staff, plans to have three assistants to help guide the Freeze during the 2007 season in the American Indoor Football Association.
"Dave Arnold did a fantastic job to put things back together," Hodas said Thursday at a news conference to announce the head coach, and discuss matters with the revamped 14-team league. Hodas, who is in negotiations to buy out co-owner Brian Fisher, will have more responsibilities, especially on the financial end of the business.
"I haven't taken anyone (another partner) on, so basically I'm flying solo," Hodas said. "But I'm happy to say we're coming back for a third season. Some people didn't think we'd last after one."
Arnold, an assistant coach at Gannon, is welcoming the challenge of replacing several players, including quarterback David Dinkins, the 2005 MVP who returned to his home in Pittsburgh to play with the expansion Pittsburgh RiverRats.
"We have an open tryout Sunday, and from the films I have received and phone calls I've had, there should be a quite a nucleus of talent wanting to be a part of the Freeze," Arnold said.
Arnold has not named his assistants, but he has candidates in mind.
"I'm looking at three people, right now one in the (coaching) box to give me another set of eyes, and I have an offensive guy that I want to give him the playbook today to get his input." he said.
Arnold welcomes the help but is satisfied that he endured the one-man workload.
"I knew it would be difficult, and with one person would be almost impossible to operate smoothly," he said. "But it helped me learn a lot, and now I know from the start what to do."
The swirl of the weekend meeting of owners and the new association had little effect on Arnold, who guided the Freeze to a 5-4 record, including a first-round playoff defeat to the eventual champion Canton Legends.
"They brought me here to coach, and that's what I'm here for," Arnold said.
Arnold, who has been with the Freeze since the beginning as an assistant under coach/promoter Mike Esposito, will have to find a way to replace Dinkins, the outspoken, multi-talented quarterback who led Erie to the 2005 AIFL title game, which it lost to the Richmond Bandits.
"Darmel Whitfield can be our quarterback," Arnold said of the former Gannon QB who starred at wide receiver the first two seasons. "Darmel is a very talented athlete, but if a guy can come in and be the quarterback, we can easily move Darmel back to wide receiver."
Veteran linebacker and defensive leader Roosevelt Benjamin said Arnold was the logical choice.
"It's a great decision to bring coach Arnold back. It's so hard to maintain a whole organization by itself," Benjamin said. "He did the best he could, we made it to the first round of the playoffs, and now he has a staff in mind. This is a stepping stone league, and coach Arnold does a great job to get the message out on his players. He can help give anybody a chance to step up in football."
