Just saw on the news that the civic center will get a video scoreboard right about center ice. They are planning to unveil the scorboard this saturday at the Otters home opener. Great!! That brings up a question though about if the scoreboard is able to be lifted up for the Freeze Games. Doubtful, since theres a catwalk that goes across the arena. Should be interesting.

If possible, take a picture. I thought about going this saturday, but Archery season starts too. That's more important to me

I know a guy that goes to every Otters game (for like the last 10 years). I'll ask him if he can take a picture.

I may not make it to a game till early next month sadly. Unless somebody else takes the pic, I'll try to get one (don't be surprise to see a pic in the newspaper though).

Apparently, the parts that made up the scoreboard got held up at the Canadian border, so the scoreboard won't be up until Wednesday.

Someone told me that the new board can be lowered or raised. Not to sure if its the truth though.

Someone told me that the new board can be lowered or raised. Not to sure if its the truth though. Most all of them can, that's how you maintain them; by lowering them to the ground to replace bulbs and stuff like that. The question is, how high can it go? I don't think it would be too big of a deal... sure, it's an obstacle but Tulio is plenty big enough where it shouldn't be that big of an issue.

well the scoreboard is up, i'm going to the otters game tomorrow. It's a pretty big scoreboard. it will change how kicking is done in Erie. More line drives = more UNOs!

anyone got a pic of the scorebaord? No, mainly because the Otturds do not allow photography. It's nothing special to look at, but for Erie, it's cool. The Scoreboard goes all the way up to the ceiling, so not problems as far as kicking the ball. The really did a great job with this.
