Just a guess, but I'm thinking I detected some sarcasm in that post. Yeah, you know me too well. Just pointing out a huge change in fortune for the players, if the report is indeed accurate. Personally, after what they did to Metro Housing last season, for the life of me I can't see how Hoffman would put them in a place like McKinley. And they DO NOT comp rooms... this will be the hotel that hosts most of the Hall of Fame celebrities in July. So Canton doesn't follow the "Shape up, or ship out mentality"? Too bad.

First, it was never revealed to me, at least, who the guilty parties were at metro housing. I don't know. Tatonka might know because he was closer than I was last season.
I can confirm that the McKinley Grand is housing the out of town players. I don't know if the rooms are comped or not, but I do know that the McKinley Grand logo is everywhere from the field to the pocket schedules. So, maybe they are.

I don't know who the players responsible are either... this was relayed to me via a mutual vendor who got it right from Bobby.

You'll always have those who do things they should not, trashing the place etc. I worked several HOFG for the Hotel when it was the Hilton, My brother was a Security Guard for them for 10 years, so these places have see it all. The Rooms may be comped depends on what they get from it, the Marriott's comp rooms, as a business its a win win for them, they are showing their not just taking the communities money, but are supporting it and a local team. as for the other teams who will spend the night, I wonder if they might stay their but I think the Marriott Inn form Sheraton Inns 4 Points. Their a large chaine and chances are theirs a Marriott division Hotel in most of the AIFA cities, so as a business I can't get NFL, NBA, MLB, AFL, AFL2, NHL, NASCAR all them are token as Official Hotels to those Leagues, AIFA it supports the communities, and gets their foot in the door for a big league and lets not forget if you travel to an away game, you might be more inclined to stay at their hotels Oh and of course their a business, lets not for get that Tax right Off Just my 2 cents worth.....Hey now I'm broke

It wasn't just trashing a hotel room... from what was told, the county still hadn't been able to rehab the apartments to the point where they could rent them out again. This was in December. They were charging the team back rent to July because they couldn't put anyone in the apartments... "Legend" has it, Coach Olive straightened it out with his charm, but it doesn't change what happened. I'd be worried about my team's reputation in the area if they did similar damage to the McKinley Grand. Of course, having the hotel staff in the rooms daily might prevent the kind of long-term damage that was done previously... Hey Ron, is it true they're gonna stick the visiting teams over at the Canton Inn on W. Tusc.?

Their's worse place than the Canton Inn, maybe Next season they but the visitors at the Town & Country Inn think that's the name, has that Dinner if front of it, Word is Timken High School may get it, to teach classes on Hotle management, or maybe its the one closer to the school. Hotle staff should curb the damage, as they be in those rooms every day, Make you wonder what those players houses look like.
