I like the poll on the right, "Who wins the Southern Conference in 2007?"
Choices are Rome, Richmond, Raleigh, and Chattahoochie Valley, four teams no longer in the league. Shoot, none of them even exist anymore.
I find it kinda funny because they are the choices for a poll I put up when I was running that site. It was at the beginning of the playoffs last season and those were the South playoff teams; the question had to do with who you thought would represent the South in the American Bowl.
Whomever is doing the Legends website now, doesn't know how to remove a poll. The top question was identical to the bottom initially, only referring to the four Northern playoff teams. They successfully changed the question and choices for that one yet left up the second one.

Andrew took you off before he got the boot. Remember that league wide Tatonka ban? The Pete Rose of the AIFL. ROFL. Well, the website is another topic I hope to bring up to the team. My guess, and it's only a guess, is that the person who is responsible for updating the website is responsible for several other things as well and the website is low on the priority list. That being said, news coming out of the Civic Center is few and far between. All I have to go on are press releases and website. We have no players signed, most of our assistant coaches are with other teams and we're looking for community support. The season kicks off in like 70 days and this is what we know ... Bobby Olive is still the head coach.

A few things on this.
1. atleast Canton website has some updates, compared to say the Phantoms(which hasn't been since last yr)
2. I know a couple teams going after some "star" players, which is probably why some aren't signed yet.
3. don't count you coach in just yet, that's all I'm saying about that.

Yup, we've had experience with that. Thankfully Arnold is local and coach for local college team so he'll more then likly be staying for awhile.

Reply: I don't know if the number of updates actually is an update. Some of those are very old. A stable organization that is planning promotional events to get a crowd out to the games should really be starting to promote itself heavily at this point. Especially since the Browns and Steelers both suck. Regarding players ... my point there is that most other teams have announced at least one signing. We've announced nothing. Absolutlely nothing. Before you know it Picman and I will be suiting up. Those of us that have been around this league know that until that coach is on the field he isn't the coach and just because he's there for that game means he's there for that game. My point was simply that Olive signing was announced. Bottom line - expect nothing and you won't be disappointed.
