The Huntington Heroes will hold an open tryout on Saturday, February 2nd for all Indoor Football hopefuls. The tryout will be from 9 am-12 pm at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in downtown Huntington, West Virginia. Registration will begin at
8 am. Cost for the tryout $45 dollars, cash or money order, if paid in advance and $55 dollars, cash or money order, the day of the tryout. Advance payment can be made at the Heroes office at the address below or at the arena the day of the tryout. All participants will be given a Huntington Heroes t-shirt at the door. Participants should come dressed for an indoor work out. Work out will include, but is not limited to, the L Drill, Short Shuttle, 40 Yard Dash, Individual Drill, as well as 1 on 1 and 3 on 3 Drills.

The Heroes will also be holding a Sponsor Fair the same day.
There is no cost to attend this event, and all local business owners and Heroes fans are invited to join us to meet our coaches and staff, purchase season and game tickets, and hear about the unique opportunities to partner with the only professional football team in the West Virginia.
The Heroes have developed a sponsorship program which can be tailored to fit any sized budget, including the smallest of businesses. Opportunities include, but are not limited to, field naming rights, dasherboard banners, promotional giveaways, program ads, pocket schedules, sponsoring players, coaches, mascots, and the dance team, and radio advertisements.
In the offseason, the Huntington Heroes and ESPN Radio 930 reached an agreement whereby all Heroes games in 2008 will be broadcast live on ESPN Radio 930. This agreement will provide additional exposure for our players and more importantly, our sponsor partners.
On the subject of sponsorship, the Huntington Heroes, and all sports teams at any level, can not survive without support from its local business community. “To keep the cost of attending a Heroes game affordable for all fans and put a winning product on and off the field, revenue needs to be generated from outside sources.” said Huntington Heroes General Manager Chip Rossetti.
“Our goal is to give every business owner in the Tri-State the ability to advertise their business with the Heroes” stated Rossetti. “We understand the importance of having your product or service known throughout the community. The Heroes provide a special opportunity to be associated with a Professional Sports Team at an affordable price, and at the same time drive traffic to your establishment. We’re anxious to help promote your company, but we need your help as well.”
Representatives of the Huntington Heroes will be on hand at the Sponsor Fair to review information and customize a sponsorship package that fits your organization.
