Huntington Heroes To Hold Open Tryout
“Get your shot at being the next Hometown Hero.”
The Huntington Heroes will hold an open tryout on Saturday, November 17th for all Indoor Football hopefuls. The tryout will be from 9 am-12 pm at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in downtown Huntington, West Virginia. Registration will begin at
8 am. Cost for the tryout $45 dollars, cash or money order, if paid in advance and $55 dollars, cash or money order, the day of the tryout. Advance payment can be made at the Heroes office at the address below or at the arena the day of the tryout. All participants will be given a Huntington Heroes t-shirt at the door. Participants should come dressed for an indoor work out. Work out will include, but is not limited to, the L Drill, Short Shuttle, 40 Yard Dash, Individual Drill, as well as 1 on 1 and 3 on 3 Drills.
There will be a press conference immediately following the tryout, approximately 12:15 pm, with the coaching staff and front office staff present. All media and Heroes fans are invited to attend.
Also, in attendance, will be a few of the players that have signed on to play for the Heroes in 2008.
