Cavs finally get a game....

Finally, we're back on the field for the first time since May 22nd. Could be a tough game. Wenatchee came to Casper 2nd game in the season and played us extremely tough to overtime... Cavs were still figuring out the defense with all the new players then. Later we went to Wenatchee and throttled them.

Now we know each other, but haven't had game situation in awhile, so I still expect the Cavs to win, but won't be surprised to see a bit of rust being shaken off by my team. If Wenatchee is to win this one (and they have a lot of motivation as this is a must win for playoff implications), I still believe they will have to score at least 50 points. I suspect that this game will be tight for the first half, and then either in the 3rd or 4th quarter the Cavs will put some separation for the win.

A good tuneup before mashing the Wolves next weekend.

Well, I definitely expected to be rusty, but the Cavs looked like they hadn't practiced in 5 weeks.

Congrats to the Venom, they knew what they had to do to stay playoff eligible, they played hard, fairly mistake free and took advantage of every mistake the Cavs made. 3 picks due to Strand not even seeing the DBs and turned that into 17 points.

I'm now for sure rooting on Yakima as I want a rematch with the Venom on July 11th. We have already proved ourselves against the Wolves.

Yes we did play like crap tonight that's for sure bad snaps and just rusty as hell and the venom did play well congrats to them they kept hope alive for there playoffs .Defense played terrible wide open receivers all over field it happens sometimes wont make excuses like the wolves fans .

Agree.... At least Ogden and Wasilla would have help keep us in some kind of game shape....

But it is what it is..... we have to not use this as an excuse. We are on track to head east to meet the Eastern conference champs for a showdown.

If you haven't played for 5 weeks like this I was expeting a loss. it should help with the next 2 games though. I still don't see the wolves doing anything when it counts.

I wasn't expecting a loss, but I also wasn't expecting the Venom to do such a great job of taking advantage of every miscue. Hats off to their team for performing at such a high level. We really need more teams in the West to be up to the task of competing for the conference title.

well well well let me first say the aifa has been a damn joke this year with cancellations sorry ive been away awhile...now on to my wolves and wyoming the cavs will be fine they didnt seem to concerned after watching the film they seem locked in on the playoff game.. i will tell all you fans now of wyoming the game on the 4th will be a exhibition game look for the wolves to sit everyone as they prepare for the conf championship and settle in out in wyoming as they will be staying there the entire week
