Story: readingeagle.com/article.aspx?id=221122I know Bernie and i am 99.999% sure it was NOT mutual. He loved the Express & woulda retired there. If the organization wants to see why attendance is dropping they can start looking at the endzone seating where the kids run around. Its so unruly and outta control down there i have openly heard MANY fans say they would never come back again. The past few weeks i have even talked with some fans who said when it was time for season ticket renewals that they would not renew their expensive front row seats but rather buy the cheapest top level ones and move down since the arena doesnt enforce any seating rules for the kids. I must say, i concur with them. I for one am not renewing my front row seats next year.

You would think that he would have been given a pass for this year's bad season considering the championship last year. Maybe part of this was done in hopes that it would light a fire in the players in order to make a push for a playoff spot.Attendance was mentioned, but isn't averaging 3100 in the AIFA pretty decent? Just once would I like to see 3100 at a Stampede game.

when he signs with another team, it'll show how bad a decision this is... Story: readingeagle.com/article.aspx?id=221122I know Bernie and i am 99.999% sure it was NOT mutual. 3100 is extremely good for any AIFA team in regards to average per game. If they want to increase that they should have more high school marching band nights as well as college nights. Always good attendances for us. Maybe a buy 1 ticket, get 1 free promo for 1 game.

Gene is right. Everytime the Mariners have had a youth football night or something involving local children, the attendance has been impressive.

I had a security guard tell me to sit down and shut up last year after I complained that kids were at the boards for 2 quarters.

I had a security guard tell me to sit down and shut up last year after I complained that kids were at the boards for 2 quarters. I cant get into exactly what but i can tell ya there will be changes in the endzone seating next year. Its just ashame that parents who didnt want to control their kids had to ruin it for everyone else. But there arent any other options...
