My turn............
I am helping out with the UIFL, but I am committed to my team in the AIFA. In the beginning of the AIFA, the fans were involved closely with the league. Now, it has become somewhat separate. Less inter-action on a league perspective. Why? I haven't a clue. But, owners should realize that fans pay the bills just as much as sponsors. Our ideas should account for something. With the UIFL, they understand this. For the time being at least. I can't speak down the road from now. But, I have sat through a couple of conference calls already. One with the ownership, and one with the FAB. I can say that the UIFL already changed one of their plans on ticket sales because of Ron's idea. Ron had this idea three years ago for Canton, but Joe Hoffman didn't want to listen. His idea should work out for the best. This is just one example of fans and owners working on the same page. Fans can and will make a difference.

C'mon now Dan-O, you were in the same boat. Didn't you work on the WIFL while still AIFA.

I haven't heard Joe talk much about the UIFL at all. Especially not when he's at the Storm games. That's clearly where his focus is.

C'mon now Dan-O, you were in the same boat. Didn't you work on the WIFL while still AIFA. Actually, I called Utah Valley Thunder games last year while I was also running the SIFL via remote. So I guess you could say we were in the same boat, but unlike you, my good friend Joe, my greatness speaks for itself. (That's sarcasm, people...) Here's one of my great Haines story. He was leading a group of AIFA refugees shopping around a group of underfunded people looking for a league and the WIFL was an option. I sat in on a conference call so Tufford could keep his distance. Haines brown nosed for ten minutes. I said thanks Andrew, but you still owe me $500 ...

I'm guessing you were "promised" money to broadcast games.
