The Reading Express had a major question answered over the weekend... Carmelo Ocasio has agreed to come back for another season... The receiver and former AIFA MVP had to find a way to fit football in with his work schedule... Ocasio was not on the field last night at the GameFace Sports Complex as the Express officially opened training camp... There are 40 players in camp and they'll have to trim the roster to 30 in the next few weeks... The Express officially begin their championship defense on March 7th in Erie... The team admits that being the champs does change some things... but it doesn't change the goal for this season... There are plenty of familiar faces back with the Express... All in all... 16 players from last year's team are around... There are also some big names missing... Mark Stoudt was a pillar on the Express offensive line from the team's first game four years ago... He retired after last summer's Championship... www.wfmz.com/sports/22517212/detail.html

Since we hadn't heard anything I assumed Melo had retired. It's awesome for him to be back another year.

Ya never know with some of these guys. They tell ya one thing at the end of the season then do the total opposite next, lol. It does appear Vogel is done for sure. Has a good job now with the railroad. He retired a champion so i am happy for him.
