Express Continue to Strengthen Roster Reading, PA – January 25, 2010 – General Manager and Head Coach Bernie Nowotarski announced today that he has signed three more players to the 2010 Express roster. Ed Giddings is a 6’3” 220lb Wide Receiver from Cheney University. Ed brings extensive indoor football experience from the AIFA and AF2 ranks. The Express have also signed long time WR nemesis, Tim Smith. Express fans will remember the great games and exciting catches the 6’ 195lb Smith provided for the Canton Legends against The Express. The third player signed will be a defensive addition for the Express. Neal Wood, a former Penn State and IUP grad also brings indoor/arena experience, and at 6’3” 245lbs, he adds size and speed to our linebacker crew. “These are three solid players coming into the Express camp. Ed, Tim, and Neal bring great athletic ability with outstanding indoor/arena experience. We are trying to put together the best possible group for the 2010 campaign and they are great additions. These players also understand and fit in with The Express’ philosophy and commitment to family and community.” commented Nowotarski. The Express have their third and final open work-out this Saturday, January 30 at 8pm. Visit the “camps” page of our website for more information. Gene, I sent 2 pics to Bernie of Tim Smith, somebody from Reading called and ask for them I wasn't home and my wife took the call so I don't know who asked. They were suppost to call back after 10 last night but didn't. If it was the fan club you can get them from Bernie or email or pm me and I'll send them to you

Great Signings!
Man The Express Put A Hurt On The Storm With This News.
Tim Smith Is A Erie Nightmare, He's Had Some Monster Games Against Us In The Past.
And Neal Wood, Not Did You Only Get A Beast On The "D" Side, You Got One Of The Most Talented Vocalists In ALL Of Indoor Football!
Just Hand Him The Mic And Let Him Sing The Anthem Before A Game, You Won't Be Disappointed!!!

I'll go out on a limb and comment on the 1st game March 7th. When Erie gets done with Reading, it will feel like you guys spent years in the state pen shower.
