1st they steal the "UNO" , now they got a FREEZE rule lol.
WIFL COMBINE NOTEBOOK COACHES TWEAK RULES: When the coaches-only rules meeting disbands in only 37 minutes, that’s a very good sign in the mind of Commissioner Gary Tufford.
“We’re on the same page and we have a system that will produce great game play,’’ Tufford said.
The coaches agreed on two slight modifications: (1) After a successful UNO on a kickoff, the receiving team gets the ball on the 10-yard line and (2) The coaches agreed on a “Freeze Rule” that allows the offense to use high motion to influence the defensive line.

Well, its only a 4 team league. I cant see them lasting more than a season or 2.How can anyone take that setup seriously anyways? .........

It's what anyone would do in any business.
Take what was good and flush what sucked.
The UNO!! is awesome to create excitement in a game. Just wish there was some way to keep the ball in play.

Hmmm. You are right Gene. The 4-team league is only going to last one year. We'll be larger in 2008.

Expand to 5. With left over Rebel gear from 2005 that is on ebay, Dan will own the team.

Gonna be tough getting more teams. If the AIFA is around next year i am sure they will expand atleast by another 4-6 teams and it was announced at our fanclub meeting this week that the CIFL "may" go from 14 up to 20 next season. Though, on the upside there i heard that some of that expansion may be further north, possibly Canada. Dan i wish ya well and all that and hope you can expand. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out......

Gee....The WIFL does have a training camp report out....I guess Tuff knows his stuff.
...... Also, on Sunday the "W" will be testing the scoring and roster locks on the website. They will be using the NFL playoff games. The Saints will rep. the Thunder, and The Bears will rep Osceola @3pm. Then the Pats will rep. Augusta and the Colts will rep. Columbus @ 6.
We do only have 4 teams, so If you'd like you can just call us "the little league that could"
