 Thats too bad. He was a good coach, IMO. I bet he'll be back. Rumor has it that he left cause of money issues.....

It's not money issues. It was simply at matter of whether he still had it in him to coach. Also he wanted to be able to spend more time with his family. Oh and 123, we won't start losing don't worry. We'll just keep winning under a new head coach.

Man, Tomlin has been a coordinator for only one year and he's been interviewed by 4 teams for the head coaching position (granted, he might be interviewed just to fulfill the requirement of interviewing at least 1 minority). As a Vikes fan, definitely don't want to see him take a job somewhere else- he really improved our defense into the only bright spot of the season.

Whisenhunt just signed a deal with the Cards. 4 year deal making about 2 mill a year. Not a bad paycheck... Though he's going to have sleepless nights with this team....

I don't like the odds of Arizona being competitive anytime soon. As for my now top guy, I'd say Grimm would make it well. But looking at how Pitt has been with their in-house guy, I wouldn't be surprised if the Rooney's are gonna go outside again and maybe hire Ron Rivera. Too early to tell. |

Ron Riveras a nice guy and still intimidating. I met him a few times at Eagles training camp & got his autograph when he was one of the asst. defensive coaches there. One thing is for sure and thats that he would get the Steelers defense back in gear. But, if i am not mistaking, its the Steelers offense that needs the help.

Yep well, Grimm or Rivera are good candidates. Our D could stay intact pretty darn well with Rivera. But if LaBeau goes then we will need someone defensively. |
