Looks like the questions about the shecdules have been answered. Looks like Revs are in and Kings are out and Richmond is going to be in our division.

Nice way to reward the league Champs by giving them 2 away games in a row to start theseason.

I agree Gene. They should allow Each Defending Champion to Open the Season on a Night of there own. GO MARINERS

Nice way to reward the league Champs by giving them 2 away games in a row to start theseason. Blame the Royals for that one. They have both the first two weekends in March (6-7 & 13-14) booked. the reason the home opener is on a Sunday is also because the Royals have a Saturday Game. On another note, I not at all being overly optimistic, but also want to plan summer vacations and don't want to miss too much if the Express make the playoffs. Any word on what type of playoff schedule there might be? I am kind of guiding off of last years, but am not sure if they are wanting to keep it the same or not.

I'd imagine the 1st round would be July 1st (Thursday). I guess when the league gets things set out west they'll put out a "league" schedule.

Well I'm about to book my vacation. Unfortunately, with kids school into June, and My work schedule, it looks like July 18-24 may be the best/only week for me to be away.
I guess it's all up to the West, but last year they played their last game when the east/south started their playoffs the weekend of July 4th.
And since we haven't see the west's schedule, I will make the assumption that they will still be playing when the east is done. If that is the case , I don't see the playoffs starting until the next weekend (July 9th) I guess without an official schedule I only see one round per conference. And since there will be travel arrangements, I see the championship game being the weekend of 7/23. So if Reading would host, I would basically be screwed (but too many ifs for my personal conflicts)
So how long until the West knows if they have a schedule.

without knowing or seeing anything, the play-offs will more than likely be 1st round the 1st weekend in July...the second round will be the second weekend in July....a week off then the championship game which is hosted by the east this year....i can tell you from a Reading stand point due to the JW's convention again....the dates I can get are 1st and 2nd rounds will be Thursday games and a Championship game would be a Monday night game...again all based on making the play-offs , but you must have the dates reserved now or you don't get them at all

Damn Jehovahs. I remember last season, i believe it was a Thurs or Friday game i was setting up the booster club table around 3pm & a group of them walked up to me in the concourse & asked me what was "going on in here tonite". I told them it was a football game & they replied "well i hope you have things cleaned up by tomorrow cause were in here"..........Just ridiculous.

Thanks Bernie, that helps a bit. Again (as he said) without seeing any real schedule, and IF Reading was to host playoff games, going of last year's schedule is Friday July 1st, Friday July 8nd, Monday July 26th.
I would assume they would still include a week off, since there will be cross country travel arrangements to be made.
Here's another question. (for any/all) Do we know if the league is leaning toward 4 teams or 8 teams in the playoffs? If it's only 4, there may only be one round and the championship?

I'd have to think 4 teams from each conference.

I'd have to think 4 teams from each conference. I was thinking that too (though it will seem a bit like the NHL in the 70s/80s with 16 of 21 teams making the playoffs. 8 of 11 teams here would be playoff bound)
