I believe they are back to square one again as I said awhile ago. Here is the latest newsletter.
On several occasions we have had a number of interested parties wanting to put the Legends back on the field for the 2010 season. It is a challenged economy, but we continue to make progress in this area. We will keep you posted with upcoming news which should be breaking soon. With Cleveland and Columbus Arena teams not playing this year, that positions the Legends in a great family fan market. If you are interested in partnering with the Legends in some capacity, contact us for additional information or discussions.

If a team is going to play in Canton in 2010, at this point I'd imagine someone will just go to the arena and talk to them directly. Talking with Hoffman's a waste of time.

They need a fresh start which means NEW ownership altogether. I might suggest the league run them in 2010 till they secure a financially stable owner.....

I posted about a month ago about league owned Canton. It makes perfect sense. It would cut down the North/East's travel. It would elliminate one or two North vs South games a year.

I agree with Joe & Gene Makes Sense for the League to take Over the Canton Team and find a good Buyer for them. Would be great to have them back in our league and fix some of the travel and schedule problems.

Problem is, the reason no one's interested in the Legends is that they see the excuse for a solid organization that Hoffman had...and M&M aren't going to do any better than that.

exit would you like to explain your comment further, I know some great people that worked for the legends, it all comes down to ownership if you can't afford to loss money for the 1st couple of years than you should be owning a team.
