The D.C Armor’s front page now says “Stay Tuned for 2010”. I won’t be holding my breath but I still hope for the best. www.dcarmor.com/

I would think that the odds are better then even that the Armor will return. They have good management but need to improve on their location and the services it provides.
In a city like DC marketing is key. Too many other distractions to think that a few press releases will draw a crowd.

I believe that it has been rescheduled for later this month. As of yesterday the DC Armory does expect the DC Armor back, however there has not been a contract signed as of yet.
That is not a concern though as the Armory sits empty 95% of the time. And if you have been inside you would instantly know why! What a horrible venue.

Do you think the Armor are returning?
I know of a few people who have left messages for Armor personnel by e-mail and phone and have not had the courtesy of a response. One agent in the DC area has e-mailed the head coach and the owner and has not received a reply as well.

I've put in a few inquiries, we'll see if that drums up anything...

I find it hard to believe that someone within the teams front office said they didnt know what their status was for 2010? Or are you referring that the "powers that be" are arena officials?

For the life of me I cannot understand some of the AIFA team owners! There have been rumors about whether New Mexico, Carolina, Fayetteville and DC are returning or to which league. How about the two New Jersey Teams? Wouldn't it be so easy and increase their public relations efforts to just publish a statement on their web page?
I would think that the league owners would get involved in rumors about the viability of their league, but then again they seem to be in denial about the Force bolting and Florence closing down!!
We will probably hear instead that the new Richmond logos have been stenciled above the urinals at their arena.

Wow logos above the urinals. I'll have to mention that to the Express front office and see if they can work that out with the arena.

As already established. the Armor aren't talking. I communicated with a rep of the city's sports authority. They don't seem to know the Armor's status either. I've been promised word when it does become available.

Either they are trying to find a better deal in the mean time or the ship is sinking. I'm guessing the latter. Though the IFL has been whoring itself out to every indoor football team, it wouldn't surprise me to see the IFL convince DC that they have better pastures.....

That's a hell of an idea if you can convince the arena to do it...how about just putting the team logo on the plastic things that go into the urinals? That way you virtually guarantee every guy looks at it. And visiting fans can piss on the Express and mean it, too.

But on the road, for example, in Baltimore, i'd have no trouble relieving myself several times per game
