DB TRAVIS WILLIS
Addressing a need for depth, aggressiveness & indoor experience in their defensive backfield, the Augusta Colts are pleased to announce the signing of DB Travis “Hawk” Willis. A 5’11”, 201 lb. native of Thomaston, GA, Willis played prep football at Upson-Lee High and collegiate ball at Newberry College. Professionally, Willis has spent time with the Montgomery Maulers, (2006); the Columbus Lions, (2008); and the S.C. Force, (2009 training camp). Signed after the Athens combine in June, Willis has already proven that he is not only a tremendous talent on the field, yet also a leader off the field; having driven from Atlanta to assist three other Augusta Colts players in the N. Augusta Habitat for Humanity project on Saturday, August 1st. Augusta Colts fans have much to look forward to!
