I am a little confused. With Trenton signing an arena lease and Lockwood talking about being excited to play in the AIFA, why hasn't Morris had one of his infamous press conferences or at least a self serving press release. Not sure but it makes for interesting speculation. Any ideas? Lack of communication from the league, shouldn't be surprising to anyone I hope the team pans out. I want another doable road trip. B.

Why is there still no mention of the Trenton team? Why haven't the Revolution's logo been added to the AIFA's website and drop down list of teams? Why are South Carolina and Florence still listed? (Why does AIFA Fans have a topic area for Trenton?)
I am beginning to think there are much bigger problems then we have imagined. I know that I thought this was going to be the final year for the AIFA. Now I am wondering whether there will be a 2010.
Way too much smoke to not have a fire. This lack of transparency has got to be hurting the league.

This lack of transparency has got to be hurting the league. I noticed the Force site has replaced the AIFA logo with the SIFL one. As far as why we have a forum here for Trenton. Last we heard Trenton was in & till we hear something different we must move ahead as if things are ok. If at a later time we hear that Trenton is out its an easy fix and we'll simply move them to the "Historical Teams" section.

Just received info from credible, but not to be named, sources that most likely there will not be a team from NJ in the AIFA this year. Neither arena has any contact info on either team and have not heard from either team in months. My source wanted to be a sponsor of both teams and neither arena even could provide a name, number or contact person to call, e-mail or write. He asked if there was to be indoor football at the arenas this fall and both arenas basically said they had no clue!
But Richmond has a new logo! That sure is important news!

Oh, I'm sure the Revs are going to play. They just don't do any of that "business" stuff (but rest assured, they pay their bills, always have).

I'm not sure they ever had a settled contract with the arena, just an overall agreement.
Things are well. Canton doesn't look good in this league for 2010, it appears.

That box has been on the site for three years just as it is. Speak to the arena employees for the true story.

I like how the Revolution site is the CIFL site. But the URL for the team still has GLIFL in it. They are announcing season tickets for 2009. One thing is a certain... with the way they keep their site updated, they will fit in perfectly with the AIFA.

Well this isnt really recent news, but I was just going on to the Sovereign Bank Arena website when I came across this. www.sovereignbankarena.com/snb-name-change/. The Kings arena, will now be called the Sun National Bank Center. "Sun National Bank Center, the 10,000-seat home of the Trenton Devils (East Coast Hockey League), Philadelphia Passion (Lingerie Football League), and the NJ Kings (American Indoor Football Association - scheduled to start in March 2010) opened on October 6, 1999. Over the past decade, the Arena has hosted international music sensations like Cher, Bruce Springsteen, and Elton John; top sports events such as the 2006 NCAA Women's Division I Basketball First and Second Rounds, and 2009 NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Trenton Regional; and family-friendly entertainment like the Blue Man Group, Cirque Du Soleil, Disney On Ice, and The Harlem Globetrotters."

Looks like NO Kings this year. I wonder what their status is for the future?
