The loss is Florence's fifth straight and all but eliminates the defending American Indoor Football Association champions from playoff contention. The Phantoms (6-6) have failed to score more than 27 points in each of the last four games. “We played hard, but we made too many mistakes in crucial spots,” Florence coach Mike Watson said. Greenville-based South Carolina improves to 6-6 on the season and has won three in a row. Rasheed Waleed and Jonathan Wedlock each scored touchdowns for Florence, and Derrick Scott had a field goal. Florence is at Columbus on Friday, while South Carolina hosts Baltimore on Saturday :smileyforce:

The Phantoms are not nearly the team they were when they were in Greenville. They looked more like thugs than the team of early on. Cheap shots and smack talking the entire game. #69 was still talking smack with less than a minute to go in the game. Heck there were some plays in the second half a couple of the guys didn't get out of their stance on the snap.
At least the FORCE are beating the teams they are suppose to. Now to get that first BIG time win at home this coming Saturday would prove this team is heading in the right direction.
