With my dealing with wheeling this year I can tell you by the end of the season there was talk of the CIFL maybe down to 4 teams, unless things change Wheeling sounded like they had enough of the CIFL and would either fold or look for a different league Yeah, that was not a highly successful season. Good product, but the off the field effort was just not there. I think my college paper gave them more coverage than the Intelligencer. |

When you don't market or advertise anything and then wonder why no one cares about you...well, you get what you deserve. The same is true with most of these failed teams in every league. Canton would definitely be included. Can't make any money when you give your product away. |
