:smileythunder: 70 to 69 First and foremost, my hat goes off to the Ogden Knights. I really didn't think that those past two wins really meant anything, but after seeing the team play tonight, they are really getting things together. Their offense is really starting to click. But bigger applause goes to Scott Thomsen, the Utah Valley kicker! clutch field goal with 3 seconds to go for the 50, and the final extra point to win the game... I'll comment more tomorrow, but this game was another one that officially kicks off the "War on I-15"... Congrats Thunder, hoepfully we'll take this as a wakeup call to not take anyone lightly anymore. The Thunder Rolls!!! :smileythunder:

Dan I saw you on your feet up there in the box the whole last half of the game. It sure was a barn burner!!! Great to see ya again As for my critique of the game, it all came down to the fact that (Ogden) came out with something to prove, and :smileythunder: (Utah Valley) was absolutely FLAT! with probably 3 turnovers in the first quarter, we dug ourselves a hole that took us the whole game to get out of. Not to mention letting them have the ball on our 15 yard line every kickoff because of 5 in a row unsuccessful onside kick attempts... not sure I agree with those calls instead of putting them back on their side of the field. but, I'm not the coach and I think he was just playing the % game with that one. Ogden's team who has really struggled to put a solid cast of guys out on the field, for the first time looked like they were a ball club. I really like what their quarterback was doing with the group of Receivers he had. If they can keep this squad healthy they'll be in good shape to turn some heads at the end of this year. (Side note, their kicker is one of the best I have ever seen , in indoor, outdoor, and football on any level. This guy has the potential to gi places after this season...) As for us, I was frustrated and embarrassed that we actually let them compete with us. We are by far the better ball club, and it was our stupid mistakes that kept them in it the whole time. But, on a positive note, I think we needed this game for many reason. 1st, it definitely gave us a wakeup call that was much needed. 2nd, overtime games like these are what put people in the seats and make them fans . 3rd, having Ogden become a legit team and creating a competitive rivalry between these two Utah teams brings much needed excitement to the West. All in all, a lot of things happened last night that needed to happen. It was a blast to be a part of it, and hopefully we as the teams in the West can do our parts and challenge the North and South for dominance... Great week in the League, go !

The 5 (onsides) arnt actually onsides they are what the team calls popcorn kicks which are meant for the return team to hopefully screw up somehow...
as far as kicking in the aifa you have your regular kickoff hopefully getting an uno, popcorn, popcorn onside, dribble, and a pop up that is the thunders Weapons on kickoff just a lil 101

congrats thunder, I'm glad you won.... that way the Cavs have no cushion. It should keep them fired up for the game Friday. I predict a 62-42 win for the Cavs at home to take a 2 game lead in the division.
PS. Hopefully, Saterfield doesn't run through your players again to say "Hi" to Amanda. LOL

whatever type of kick you wanna call it, it wasn't working haha. Don't keep them in the game by giving it to them on our own 15. Make them beat us with their offense, not our popcorn kicks Friday's game will be a good one You're right, neither team is going to take this one lightly. Edge goes to Wyoming, but I'm hoping that both teams play at their best and make it a close game again. Maybe just maybe we steal this one, as well as Home-field advantage through the playoffs!!!
