The Augusta Colts are proud to announce the signing of “Jack” Linebacker and Defensive End, Quinton Pruitt. The 6’3”, 207 lb., Pruitt, from Albany, GA, played at Parkview HS (Atlanta) and at the University of West Alabama; where he set a school record with 19 QB sacks in a single season. These were a part of the 32 total sacks which “Q” chalked up over the course of his two years at UWA. Pruitt will be making his pro debut with the Augusta Colts in 2010.

I know this thread is a few weeks old, but I'm bored. I recently had a conversation that lead me to do a little research on the Colts latest signee...... on the Augusta Colts, John Sisson, the entire City of Augusta, Richmond County, the Savannah River, James Brown Arena, the AIFA, the Pope, the President, and the Easter Bunny! 19 sacks in a single season 13 in another at University of West Alabama, and he's making his pro debut in the AIFA? Seems like this would have at least been good enough for all conference, but no! He's not listed....Anywhere. Not in the West Alabama records, or any other school for that matter. There's no record that he even played for the school, much less performed any miracles like rolling up 19 sacks in a season. Come on guys, this is getting out of hand. Maybe this guy can play, but there is nothing that says he ever has before. As a coach, when a guy comes to me and tells me about the great things he can do, I always say. There's only one way to find out....Suit up. athletics.uwa.edu/Football/08mg/FB%20Media%20Guide.pdf -Page 69 is the all time roster. Scroll on down and see for yourself.
