The Augusta Colts are proud to announce the signing of former University of South Carolina lineman, James Thompson. J.T was highly recruited out of Sumter H.S. in Sumter, S.C. and was on the fast track to becoming a high pick in the NFL draft; before some college discipline issues temporarily derailed his dreams. His life now back on track, J.T. has finished his undergrad degree at USC; has enrolled at the University of Phoenix (Masters in Secondary Ed) and is back in the gym; ready to use his 6’4”, 310 lb. frame to anchor the 2010 Augusta Colts offensive line. And having just turned 24, his dream of playing on Sundays may yet become a reality.
