Well here today and gone tomorrow!
Glad to see Troy Bergeron get another shot with the birds. with Robinson traded to St. Louis and Finneran getting a little older maybe Bergeron has a chance to make the squad opening day. He was there til the final cuts last time.
Either way goodluck Bergeron with your second stint with the Falcons.

I hope Troy makes it this year. I'll be pulling for him (until he plays my Saints!)

well that didn't last long! Troy Bergeron was released today by the Falcons for a RB outta GA.
Hopefully the fans in Columbus can see Troy finish out the season now with the Lions. He is still looking to return to the AFL where he has been very successful. AFL rookie of the year in 2005.

Why would you sign a guy and then cut him all in the same week without ever getting him on the field?
I know that is pro sports but it doesn't make a lot of sense.

They did it to make room for a veteran RB they signed. There are always players on "the bubble" that will be cut and re-sign over and over again. At least Troy is on their radar, so he may get the call if a spot opens.
