No need for a typical review you can read about this beat down from two sources: D.C Point of View: www.dcarmor.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=53&Itemid=2Columbus Point of View: www.ledger-enquirer.com/293/story/690667.htmlMy Perspective: I still believe the Armor is a very talented team in some spots. There is a lot of talent at wide receiver and defensive back, linebacker Mike Woodhouse could star for any AIFA team, and the defensive line is not that bad. The simple fact is coach Daniel James has lost this team. There is a lack of institutional control highlighted by Gary Brigg’s and Kobota Sikyala actions. Briggs got into a fight with a Lions fan and according to our friend Lionsroar, Sikyala was yelling obscenities into the stands. Why owner Corey Barnette would hire Coach James is beyond me. James was a loser in Baltimore and he has taken D.C down the same path. He was even dumb enough to give Kenny Irby another shot in the AIFA, the only person worse than James in Baltimore was Irby. Why not give Randy Hymes (who may or may not still be one the team) a shot at quarterback, he was great tossing the pigskin at Grambling. This team needs a new coaching staff, offensive line, and quarterback if they are going to succeed. Next: April 25 vs. Harrisburg Stampede *Note the Armor has announced a promotion for the Harrisburg game, with the purchase of an adult ticket you get a free beverage, beer included.
