The SC FORCE WON 53-48 over the Fayetteville Guard revenging their opening season loss where they only scored 18 points.
SC blew a 14 point lead in the 4th quarter due to stupid penalties, one which nullified a TD.
The Guard took the lead with 50 seconds to go but the FORCE charged right back and scored with 8.9 seconds left. Two great defensive plays sealed the deal for the FORCE. They have now won 2 of their last 3 games. Averaging over 50 points per game in that stretch.
They return home to face the Carolina (Charlotte) Speed on Saturday May 25th. It is time to pack the house to see some exciting football.
The people of Fayetteville should be proud of the fans and organization their. They were truly first class tonight. Enjoyed the atmoshpere.

Really seems like the Force are becoming legit. Congrats on a defining victory. Keep it up!

Never really understood why you would fire your coach after one game, but Tony Wells has stepped up to the plate and got things going in the right direction. A new QB and the willingness to throw the ball down the field have started putting points on the boards. Adjusting the team to the arena game has taken some time but seems to be headed in the right direction. Now if they can work on a little discipline to not line up in illegtal defenses and not get silly personal fouls by keeping their mouths shut they may have the talent to go far in this their first year.
