Maybe and I mean maybe 1,000 people at the game. You think it is a bad idea to go up against Wizards basketball, the final four, Nationals baseball, and D.C United soccer? Not to mention the crappy dasher pads that looked like gym mats thrown over the walls. There were tons of gaps, lucky no one got hurt. If things do not turn around D.C is going to be one and done. Lastly congratulations to the Express they totally shut down the Armor's offense tonight.

Wasnt there also a Cherry Blossom parade or something?

The AIFA's main site has the Express' record listed at 2 - 2. I had to double check the score after seeing the results Gene txt me last night. They better fix it soon.

The east side was filled with all the sports events. I certainly don't think the Armor is doomed just yet. It's just very hard here to get attention for sports teams outside the big leagues.

See I agree with you, getting the attention of people out side the big leagues in a major league market is very hard. Tie that in with a crappy facility like the Armory and you have a recipe for disaster. I want the Armor to work but after seeing there operation first hand I was less than impressed. The dasher pads were a joke, the Armory is a joke, and the crowd was a joke.
