Cynical Sarcasm is not a ringing endorsement. Sounds like this guy has been in his cushy little sports job a bit too long.

Im not upset, but as a sports writer myself, I would not loosely gest about a new franchise like that unless I qualify it. You know him and his style, I would venture to say most people reading him for the first time would think he is a miserable hack upset that he has to lower himself to minor league sports. At least that was my impression.

There's a difference between being snarky and not giving a team a chance. He's doing the later.
I hope when the Armour play their first game at home, that Dan gives them a fair shake and goes to that game.

At least that was my impression. Your impression is wrong, Dan writes a blog that covers every thing from teams like the Armor to the Olympics. In fact he was in Beijing as a member of the Washington Post press contingent. You have to remember that it is a blog and meant to be funny, not serious journalism. In all honesty with a crowded D.C sports market (Caps,Nats,March Madness, Wizards, and off season Redskins) the Armor are lucky to get any coverage at all.

Dan never said any thing like "don't go to Armor games" or "Indoor footballs stupid". The Armor are lucky to get any coverage considering DC is a very crowded sports market. Besides if some misinformed TV anchor said this about the Armor "This team is truly stacked with talent; in fact the word on the street is they probably won't even make it through the season without several of the players being picked up by the NFL", you would make make fun of it too.
