I agree. You can get a cheaper NFL authentic for that price. 2 years ago at Eagles training camp my friend bought a game worn Tra thomas jersey for $200. Was dirty, smelly & torn too.

I have a Lions Jersey from the 'WIFL' and that jersey is really really well made. I don't know who made their jersey's but I bought one of those for $75 and i thought that was reasonable for me. Now i have wanted a "Tommy Nobis" jersey for about three years now that is $300 and I haven't bought it because it's just not reasonable. Believe me I was a Falcon fan way before indoor football and it kills me to not have that jersey. My reason in explaining this is there is more that the falcons offer that should have probably forced my hand in getting the Nobis jersey by now but i could not conceivably come up with anything that the Wildcats have done that would force anyone to buy one of these jersey's. $149 dollars for authenticity!!!!!Really? Really?

Yea, I'm stunned by this. I had to read it more than once just to make sure I understood what they were "offering". I could see including the authenticity in the cost, but to charge extra is unheard of. I buy a lot of game worn and autographed merchandise, and I have NEVER had to pay to authenticate it. Heck, I recently got an 8x10 autographed photo of former NY Islander Mike Bossy from Steiner Sports. It came with an 8 1/2 x 11 certificate and a credit card sized card that had a matching seal and item number that matched the seal on the photo. I don't remember being charged for that.
And like the rest of you have said, you can get an NFL uni for that much, or less. The Rats currently have their 2008 home unis for sale, they're only $95. And I got a Guard home uni from the team last fall for $65. They auctioned them off on ebay, and only about have the jerseys sold the first time around.
The Wildcats are going to have a tough time selling them at those prices.
And I'll have to check, but I believe they offer regular unis on their site for a lot less, of course........

I wonder how much it would cost me to get an unnumbered Jersey numbered? Ex:#10 and add "Hall" to the back of it.
I bet you would come out looking better and would have probably paid less than $100!

The price would depend on whether you would get sewn on or screened numbers as well as the name plate and lettering. But it would be MUCH cheaper to do it that way. The numbers would cost at most a few bucks apiece, and only putting a four letter name wouldn't cost more than a few bucks as well.
I had a hockey jersey done locally it was 3 color sewn on numbers (Arms and Back) as well as a name plate and SCOOTER on the back in 3 color sewn on letters as well and it ran me about $50- $60 bucks.
And that wasn't bad at all.
